Spider-Man clashes with Cloak & Dagger, then kicks Longhshot in the back of the head!
These Spider-Man cross-overs from November-December 1985 offer up an interesting cross-section of Marvel Comics. First up is Longshot #3 + #4, by Ann Nocenti and Art Adams. Here, at the tender age of 19, Adams re-invents superhero art, influencing a generation of imitators — for good or ill. But what about Nocenti’s script? We have much to say about that!
Next up is Cloak & Dagger #3, by Bill Mantlo, Rick Leonardi & Terry Austin, in which the titular heroes clash with Spidey over their respective crime-fighting methods.
