The intrigue continues in the next episode of Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Do we finally get to see Baron Zemo? Who knows! Join us for a little chat!

Harvey Brent is back in the co-host chair! Join him and G.I. Jolie to talk about the very second episode of Marvel’s latest superhero show!

A spoiler-y recap of the plot for this episode

So. We have a ‘new’ Captain America. Don’t worry, we’re not having any of it either!

Captain Chad, as we’ve so fondly named him, has taken up the mantle of Captain America as is offered to him by the Government, and Falcon and Bucky do their best to ignore him.

Actor, Wyatt Russell portrays Captain Chad aka John Walker, and he’s a great actor, but we don’t like what’s happening. Throughout the episode he gets in the way of Falcon and Winter Soldier pursuing members of the Flag Smashers. He attempts to recruit them as sidekicks, but this doesn’t work.

When do we get to the good stuff?

There are three introductions that are made in this episode. The first is to Captain Chad, who we discussed previously, and the other two being of Super Soldier stock: Super Soldier Carli and Isaiah Bradley. These two characters spell great potential for the plot of the show, though it’s likely to go nowhere.

At the end of the episode we Bucky and Sam talk about tactics and decide that they need to pay a visit to an “old friend”. They believe this “old friend” will have intel on the Flag Smashers. This “old friend” is Baron Zemo, who we see briefly before the episode ends.
