A chat with comic book artist Trina Robbins

Trina Robbins is tired of answering questions about Wonder Woman and Vampirella, but that doesn’t stop Mike-EL from asking! It certainly didn’t stop her from answering.

Robbins once declared that Promethea is “what Wonder Woman should be if she hadn’t been destroyed by generations of idiots”. A bold statement from an underground comics legend, Robbins has been frustrated by DC Comics’ mismanagement of Wonder Woman since the death of her creator William Moulton Marston.

In 1986, Robbins was given the opportunity to collaborate with Kurt Busiek on The Legend of Wonder Woman, a throwback to the Golden Age roots of the Amazon Ace, beloved by fans and creators alike.
