Artwork for issue 17 of GREEN ARROW released!
From the looks of this artwork (by Andrea Sorrentino) that was released this afternoon it looks like Jeff Lemire and DC have plans to give us a new Green Arrow whose look will correspond with the one that we’ve been seeing on television.
ONE reason why this is a smart move: CW’s Arrow is so wildly popular that a revamp is logical. Why it never occurred to relaunch the title with a younger Oliver Queen I’ll never know, as the potential to tell many more stories would be greater had the initial creative team gone back farther into his past.
