No matter what age, no matter what fandom, fans and patrons get the very best entertainment and they benefit due in large part to Fan Expo’s diverse celebrity guest line ups.
Spanning eras of geek culture and encompassing every fandom, guests like Arrow’s Stephen Amell continue to make appearances. Charming, personable, caring, homegrown, and a great speaker, they make fans comfortable and make sure that patrons have a great time! (Isaac and his wife are still over the moon about Amell and David Ramsey (John Diggle) kidnapping their baby for selfies. P.S. She was dressed as the sweetest little baby Groot!)

It’s also the rare appearances that Fan Expo books, that really keep me coming back to the show. In an appearance many, many years in the making, Anthony Stewart Head finally made his way back to Toronto for the show. Probably best known for his role as Rupert Giles in TV’s Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Head —still does, enjoy a very great and inspiring career as evidenced by the healthy cross section of people present at his Q&A. The auditorium as absolutely full to bursting with fans of his various roles in film and television, and most surprisingly his music and charity work! It warms the heart to know that an actor such as this touches and continues to touch the lives of so many.
Thank you Fan Expo! It doesn’t get said enough that, to the credit of the organizers, having a guest of this calibre at a Fan event really just makes it world class, and a must for anyone to attend!
