The Nerdy Book Club reviews the English translation of “Le bleu est une couleur chaude” by Julie Maroh.

The heart wrenching story of two young girls in love inspired the smash hit film in 2013. The film departed from the source material in many respects, and those differences inspire much of our discussion.
