  • An interesting topic Michael. I’ve always wondered why people chose the characters they did. These girls are pretty smart and strong in their own sense. They have a feminist spin on things. Hence, why they don’t like DC as much. I’m curious to know their views on Wonder Woman, the OG of female characters.

Overall I’d have to disagree and claim that DC does in fact have stronger female characters. Marvel’s female characters are overblown. Sure DC sexifies their females, but there is no denying that females such as Wonder Woman, Poison Ivy, Catwoman, Cheetah, Harley Quinn, Black Canary, Zatanna, Barbara Gordon, Circe, Queen Hippolyta, Mary Marvel, The Huntress, Lady Shiva, Lois Lane, and who I believe to be the strongest, Talia al Ghul, all set a very high bar.

Further, I believe DC actually explores the personalities of these female characters more than Marvel does with their characters.
