MAN OF STEEL Trailer + Photo Gallery!

Watch the official trailer right here! PLUS a photo gallery of all the important tidbits!

Superman. The hero the world needs… but are we “ready”?

Looks like movie going audiences are going to be exposed to a more serious side of the life of Clark Kent! If you’ve watched the trailer you may have already noticed that he rescues a school bus full of children at a tender pre-teen age and is forced and encouraged to hide his true nature from the world by his very own Earth-father, Johnathan Kent.

Also great is the small glimpse of Superman walking in a snowy landscape, no doubt on his way to or coming back from his Fortress of Solitude; it’s safe to say that he’s gonna suit up, let’s just hope it’s for the better part of this movie.

Water and school bus flashbacks are going to play a significant role as well, perhaps pushing our Clark Kent to come out of the Super Closet? Though I’m VERY interested in finding out A) Why Superman is on fire and B) How Superman and Lois found themselves in a standoff with what looks to be the US army.

Watch the official trailer as many times as you need to and rest assured that actor Henry Cavill (Tudors) is definitely the Clark Kent the world has been waiting for. Where can you go wrong when you have a man like Kevin Costner aka Johnathan Kent raising you?

Here are some images from the trailer! As always you are free to get all kinds of excited in the comments below!

Man of Steel stars British actor Henry Cavill as Superman aka Clark Kent. David S. Goyer (The Dark Knight Trilogy) co-wrote the screenplay for Man of Steel and though Christopher Nolan is billed as Producer, Zack Snyder (Watchmen, 300) is directing. The film is scheduled to be released on June 14th, 2013.
