MORE KICK ASS NEWS Tweeted from the set!
Today, we released the set photos for Kick Ass 2 showing off the production of the movie. Now, we get this distressing tweet from director, Jeff Wadlow followed by an image:
Holy craptastic! It’s The Motherf*****’s (formerly known as Red Mist) logo. In Mark Millar’s comic series, they are known as Toxic Mega C#%ts and they are the vicious super villain group led by Christopher Mintz-Plasse’s character in Kick Ass 2. The name change is much cooler because I can’t really see myself saying the word, c#%ts. The name Toxic Mega is too long to pronounce, so The Motherf*****’s it is.
These The Motherf***** are out for blood and anyone trying to be amateur superheroes; Heroes like Mustard Man are going to be gunned down! Dave/Kick Ass (Aaron Johnson) and Mindy/Hit Girl (Chloe Moretz) are trying to lay low from the hero scene, trying to just be regular teenagers, especially Mindy. So much terror will The Motherf***** reign down before Mindy has to become Hit Girl again. What about Dave? Will joining Colonel Stars & Stripes (Jim Carrey) in Justice Forever be good enough to take on The Motherf*****?
