Synopsis: Captain America and Ian have been captured by the Phrox but can Steve communicate with them and convince them he’s a friend?

Good: I would be lying if I said the beginning wasn’t interesting, one word to describe it without giving anything major away, experiments. Overall for the art I really enjoyed it, it worked really well with the story that was being told. Another great thing is that Remender does an excellent job at capturing Steve’s personality, one of the most essential things of course in a comic book is the main character. Just like the first two comics the flashbacks work really well and flow well with the story. The final page definitely surprised me and left me wanting more, as a fan of Remender I knew when this first started I had to check it out and I can safely say I’m hooked on it especially after this one.

Bad: As a fan of Remender even I have to admit he uses father issues a lot in his books. Venom had Flash and his father, Uncanny X-Force had Wolverine and Daken, Steve Rogers and his father. Don’t get me wrong it works for the story but at a certain point it gets a little distracting. After that though I don’t really have any issues with this book, really solid comic book with great art and a great story.

Overall: I’d have to say this is one of the better books to come out of Marvel Now! it has an interesting story with some really great art. If you’ve been wanting to get into Captain America, now would be a perfect time.

Rating: 4.5/5
