Trick? or UNBELIEVABLE treat? A clip from the new animated Axecop!!! Watch it here…
Earlier in the Spring (April) it was announced that Axe Cop would be adapted for Saturday’s late-night audiences in a programming block called Animation Domination HD (ADHD) for FOX. The clip was released early today and features the voice talent of Nick Offerman who you may know as the great Rick Swanson (Parks and Rec). Though he remains uncredited there’s no mistaking that voice.
This new series began as a popular web comic that was created by Malachai Nicolle, and brother Ethan. At its inception both were five and twenty-nine years old respectively. The “Axe Cop” follows a quirky yet lawly axe-wielding police officer and his team of allies, as they fight the monsters and bad guys that Malachai cooks up in his mind –some of them being very creative!
So far ADHD has ordered six 15-minute episodes of the series and plans to start airing the show on Saturdays starting at 11 p.m. ET. Unfortunately we will all have to wait until some unspecified date in 2013.
