Images from “Legacies” reveal new foe for Green Arrow! Images after the jump …

Arrow is going in the direction of a more realistic comic book TV series, which is good especially after The Dark Knight Trilogy. Episode 3 of Arrow was only a taste of the realistic villains on this show. Deadshot did well as a character in episode 3 as this rendition of the Deadshot character seemed more realistic with his tattooed body covered in the names of his victims! This made Deadshot appear more realistic as an assassin and this character was only a taste of the realistic villains the series has planned. So get ready, because in episode 6, we’re going to see “The Royal Flush Gang” in action. Here’s the episode synopsis:

Episode 6 “Legacies”: THE ROYAL FLUSH GANG INVADES STARLING CITY — A gang of bank robbers, dubbed The Royal Flush Gang, hits a local bank and seriously wounds an off-duty police officer during a heist. Diggle (David Ramsey) tells Oliver (Stephen Amell) he needs to deviate from his father’s list and start helping the citizens of Starling City.

“The Royal Flush Gang” have always seemed too cartoony or too theatrical with the references to a deck of cards in comic books and in the media but now, the gang is going to be portrayed as realistic conmen without their placement in a heist scenario. This portrayal is going to make them more appealing for tv audiences and hopefully the gang will be a challenge for Green Arrow.

Stephen Amell and David RamseyIn a very cool turn of events John Diggle (David Ramsey) aka Oliver Queen’s driver (for all intents and purposes) will be joining Green Arrow for the fight. Since episode 3 of this first season, Diggle and Oliver have become closer allies so it comes as no surprise that will be indirectly helping Oliver save Star City. So, episode 6 will show a lot of interaction between the two characters.

If you don’t mind visual spoilers you can see the sneak peek images below.
